FAYE WILLIAMS



Having started dancing at the age of 5, Faye has spent the past seventeen years as a competitive dancer and cheerleader.  She was a member of the Sheldon School of Dance in the West Midlands and competed at ADFP freestyle disco events throughout the UK, reaching champion standard by the age of 10.  She competed in various divisions including freestyle solo, pairs, slow and rock n roll, as well as with the champion level team Odyssey.  She also danced in the Birmingham International Tattoo at the NEC arena for several years.

During her studies at University, Faye became involved in the Reading University Cheerleading Squad know as RUC.  As well as competing for three years as a part of the co-ed team gaining university champion status three years in a row, Faye was also as active member of the committee responsible for the organisation of the squad.  She also competes as part of RUC's elite dance squad - a group of dedicated dancers who over the past 2 years have picked up four first place trophies at UK events.  Last summer, Faye was successful in gaining a position on the Great British Bulldogs cheerleading squad and went on tour to Norway to support the British Bulldogs American Football team.

She spend this year studying for a postgraduate qualification and coaching cheerleading at an after school club at Highdown secondary school in Emmer Green.  She has coaching qualifications with the UK Cheer Association (UKCA) level 2.

Sandrine and Tanya willing be joining our coaching staff very shortly. They are both members of the Reading University Cheerleaders and will be competing at British Cheerleading Association (BCA) Nationals. We wish them good luck!
